Day 6-Face shots on the Wham Ridge~Vestal Peak

Yesterday was a hard day. There isn’t a whole lot that needs be written about today. It was incredible. We skinned to our high point on Wham Ridge, and turned around and skied blower pow all the way down. It felt almost guilty after having been up there once before in the summer.

The up was pretty photogenic:

The sun came out for most of the time we were on the ridge.

Eventually we got to a point on the climb where it was only the new snow over rock. Time to ski as far as we could see.

We sat at the bottom for a while trying to decide if we thought the clouds would clear again or not, and whether we should go up for a second lap. In the end the wind seemed to pick up again, and we opted to go ski a little chute we had seen a couple days before.

The weather was coming in again we made the decision to hit the road in the morning.

Now that is a nice spring objective right there. Very aesthetic turns on Wham of course. Way to go the extra mile in exploring Electric & Greystone. Good work, boys.

Guess you will have to go back for a top out on Vestal, eh? I would be happy to help with that 😉
