Sniffing out the Snowpack on North Maroon

Tyler and I headed up to North Maroon to do some snowpack observations and to get out for a ski. We skied a couloir that is kind of hidden to the right of the face. Here are some pics.

We skinned a long way up.  In fact we skinned above Miner's ski jump because the snow was so deep.

As soon as we got into the couloir proper it became much easier to make upward progress.
