Evan and I left with the idea of skiing Sievers and wound up stumbling our way into skiing this sweet couloir right above Maroon Lake. The skiing was good even in the pea soup whether. I’d do it again.

Ah…so it’s going to be that kind of day eh? Evan walking in the Pingpong ball.

Evan on our first descent. A nice, wide, 30 degree couloir that went for about 1000 feet. Oh, and it was pow.

Evan putting in the track to the top of our second descent. It’s still deep and snowing, if only it would clear a little bit.

Dropping. 3000 feet of goodness awaits.

Looking back up the eery chute we came down. Now time to pole the 7 miles back down Maroon Creek Road.
