Snowmass ski area to Maroon Lake

Evan and I left with the idea of skiing Sievers and wound up stumbling our way into skiing this sweet couloir right above Maroon Lake. The skiing was good even in the pea soup whether. I’d do it again.

Evan on our first descent.  A nice, wide, 30 degree couloir that went for about 1000 feet.  Oh, and it was pow.

Looking back up the eery chute we came down.  Now time to pole the 7  miles back down Maroon Creek Road.
