Trinidad is a popular city to hang out in for a day or two, its winding streets remind you of old European cities, easy to lose yourself in for a day. We had a great time walking around here, but wanted to be a bit out of the city. La Boca, called our name. Trinidad hasn’t changed a whole lot since the mid 1800’s from the horse drawn carts to the cobblestone walks. We stayed with one of the nicest couples ever, and she easily made some of the best food we had in all of Cuba. Highly recommended, and only steps from the small rocky beach.
After exploring the streets of Trinidad we headed out the peninsula to Playa Ancon to check out another beach. Despite being more of a tourist beach destination, it proved to be a great spot to enjoy the ocean and watch the sunset fade into the evening.
